"Kick off the night with a punchy jug of Spanish sangria and some spicy tapas to share"
Looking for somewhere romantic to celebrate Valentine’s Day? Spoil your loved one with an evening of fine food and delicious drinks at one of these special Brisbane restaurants.
Even the fussiest of Valentine’s dates will be impressed by Casa Cibo, our new Italian favourite. This Brisbane restaurant has a beautiful interior setting and serves up decadent Italian cuisine – perfect for a romantic evening.
Start off your night right with a share board of their finest Italian salamis and cheeses. Then, pick a few lovey dovey meals to share like their lamb ragu, salmon salmoriglio and woodfired alla norma pizza. To top it off, you’ll be spoiled for choice with Italian wines and desserts.
You and your special someone will be in for a night of pure indulgence at Daniel Ridgeway’s BiN 931. With a list of unique cocktails and an exciting menu of Asian, Italian and modern cuisine, BiN 931 caters to a sophisticated palette. Delectable share plates are the star of the menu here, like sticky soy pork belly and baked miso eggplant – very fitting for a shared Valentine’s day feast.
For a fun-filled Valentine’s evening – Hermosa is the place to go. Kick off the night with a punchy jug of Spanish sangria and some spicy tapas to share. Afterwards, go for one of their famous paellas for two, and top off the evening with one of Hermosa’s unbelievably creative desserts. Sherry vinegar sorbet with blow torched meringue? Charred pineapple with chilli caramel and sour cream ice cream? Yes please!
Kinn + Derm
If you love Asian food as much as you love your Valentine’s date, Kinn + Derm will not disappoint. They’ve put modern twists on Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese classics for a truly unique dining experience. When you’re there, try the sweet and salted watermelon, the DIY duck san choy bau and the crispy eggplant sticks. Make sure you bring your appetite because there will be at least 10 things on the menu you’ll want to taste here.
A combination of dining and entertainment – teppanyaki is the ultimate date night idea. Spoil your significant other at Kamikaze Teppanyaki with one of their decadent sets for two. In our interview with Head Chef Eddie Cheng, he recommended the Super Supreme, which comes with fillet mignon, prawns, scallops, salmon, Moreton Bay bugs, tuna, squid, chicken and baby octopus. It’s safe to say you and your date won’t leave Kamikaze feeling hungry.
