6 Kid Friendly Restaurants for a Family Night Out
March 10, 2018
"Every Monday and Tuesday, you can grab a free kids meal with the purchase of any main meal."
Wanting to spend some quality time with the fam bam, but not sure where? Family nights out are a breeze with these kid friendly restaurants at Westfield Chermside.
Our German favourite The Bavarian has a kids’ menu like no other. With crispy mac and cheese balls, chicken schnitzels, mini hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches, grilled chicken wraps and classic hamburgers, the kiddies are spoilt for choice. So while you’re indulging in German beers and tasting platters, you can rest easy that your kids will be happy chaps too.
At Casa Cibo, Head Chef Joey Goldman has gone to an incredible effort to curate a healthy kids’ menu full of food that your children will actually eat. As a father of three kids himself, Joey has dreamed up creative ways of making meals healthy but delicious for little ones. Think chicken strips baked in a corn flake crumb instead of fried chicken nuggets.
The Sporting Globe
Family nights have gotten a whole lot more affordable thanks to The Sporting Globe. Every Monday and Tuesday, you can grab a free kids meal with the purchase of any main meal. The kids will love their choices of tempura chicken nuggets, calamari, an Angus beef burger or a mini chicken parma. And parents will appreciate the option to get either chips or broccoli as a side to their kids’ meals. Check out the full menu.
At Fiery Deli, you can enjoy fiery South American dishes and delicious cocktails while your kids pick from the ‘Little Venezeulan’ menu for children who are 10 and under. They’ve got mild arepas (a classic Venezuelan taco burger), nachos and empanadas with a variety of fillings. And you can also add chunky chips and freshly squeezed OJ to these adventurous kids’ meals for a hint of familiarity.
Zeus Street Greek
A crowd pleaser for the whole family, Zeus Street Greek has done a great job of making their menu accessible to all ages. On their ‘mini gods’ menu, children can pick from chicken or lamb pitas with tzatziki and chips, or crumbed fish/chicken/calamari with chips and a juice. Hot tip: ask the friendly crew at the counter for some fun activities to keep the entire family entertained.
Food AND entertainment are sorted for the kids with a trip to Kamikaze Teppanyaki. Talented chefs will put on a spectacular show for you and your family with the purchase of any teppanyaki set. The kiddies will love catching food with their mouths, and watching the lightning quick actions of their food being prepared. Keep in mind though, the Kamikaze Teppanyaki menu is probably most suitable for children with more adventurous palettes.
